Dissertation Research Grant
| WHAT: |
Up to $800 for dissertation research. The purpose of
this funding is to offer support to advanced graduate students who require
funding to conduct their dissertation research, or as seed money to prepare
a grant to an outside funding agency. Proposals are developed and written by
graduate students according to the program guidelines and submitted to the
SBSRI Advisory Board for consideration. There will be two grant deadlines in
the current academic year with up to five awards for each competition.
FUNDING SUPPORT: Allowable expenses include
research-related travel and expenses, such as subject payment. This program
does not support travel to meetings to present papers, publication costs, or
salary supplement to the investigator. Ownership of research equipment
purchased on this grant reverts to the SBSRI at the end of the research
project. |
